Hi all
If you are interested in or just starting out as a journal manuscript reviewer, Elsevier has a site that is useful. This isn't specific about sociology, but the advice should apply to people reviewing for sociology journals. The site is here
http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/reviewershome.reviewers
They have a newsletter with very short articles, but also a couple of other resources, available from the home site
The Reviewers' Information Pack, which provides practical information for the new and experienced Reviewers (for Elsevier journals, but I'm sure the same advice applies to non Elsevier journals)
and
Charting a course for a successful research career
Hope folks find these useful.
