[sociology_today] scholarpedia, citizendium

Hi all

Another couple of pedia's looking for contributors.

Unlike wikipedia, this one is peer reviewed, and the authors of articles are named. However, at present, it only has articles about physical sciences. The people in charge are interested in getting social scientists. There is a catch, though. They only want contributors who are really really qualified. Like in the physical sciences, they only want Nobel prize winners and the like. Obviously in sociology, we don't have that, but if you are faculty at a top school, were president of ASA, perhaps that would suffice.

also unlike wikipedia, the authors are (usually) named, and the articles are peer reviewed. But unlike scholarpedia, you don't have to be a Nobel winner. I contributed an article about statistical software   http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/Free_statistical_software
You just have to have -some- credentials, and the article is peer reviewed by a citizendium editor. This one does have social science articles, but could use more.

Thanks
