| For The Following Positions: - Sr.Control Engineer : Task & Expertise: Provides specialized technical guidance and support in the Maintenance engineering, troubleshooting and failure analysis of a wide range of instrumentation and associated control systems, such as PLCs, DCS, SCADA system etc. Reviews and participates in the design and development of related projects. Prepares statement of requirements for new projects. Participates in technical bid evaluation. Provides assistance to development engineering, Operations and studies the performance of major packages. Assesses the reliability of critical control packagesand makes recommendations for their enhancement. Studies and recommends ways to enhance their reliability. Participates in the preparation of annual budgets and five-year plans. - PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER : Tasks & Duties: Develops Predictive Maintenance Programs for the department. Interprets, analyses and recommends for action on outcomes of Predictive Maintenance Program. Analyses design, operational and maintenance related problems for Rotating Mechanical Equipment / facility for finding out optimum economical solution. Resolves repetitive and chronic rotating equipment problems to maintain reliability and maximize availability. Establishes Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs for rotating equipment. Reviews history entry in CMMMS with the objective to ensure its quality and effective utilization of the available data. Participates actively in the implementation of new projects, design change and in-house modification jobs from design stage up to commissioning. Qualification & Exp: B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. 5 Years experience as Maintenance Mechanical Engineer in oil refinery, petrochemical, power plants or associated industry. Knowledge and experience of condition monitoring technique and analysis of data. Good knowledge of written and spoken English. Computer literate. - Senior Chemical Engineer : Task & Duties: Lead the activities in reactor modelling using data generated/obtained from pilot plant and commercial units at refineries. Lead various studies for TAKREER to introduce new catalysts. . Contribute to the development of new catalyst technologies by cooperating with catalyst suppliers and other research institutions. . Provide assistance to assess the various performance tests on catalysts used in pilot plant and refineries. Provide technical expertise for catalyst related issues/subjects in refinery. Support catalyst selection activities to achieve optimised operation. Perform studies and evaluations on catalyst development and contribute to the overall performance of TAKREER's operations. . Coordinate with pilot plant operation team to manage evaluation and investigation of catalysts. Support the technical studies and investigation on activation/deactivation of catalysts, regeneration of spent catalysts, fouling materials etc. . Propose improvements on existing catalysts using pilot data and further investigation. Helpthe buildup of technicalknow-howon catalysts. Liaise with, and provide assistanceto, TAKREER'srefinerieson catalysts-related issues. Initiateandcarryout researchanddevelopmentactivitiesto assessnovelcatalysts. Carry out fundamental and basic investigations/studies on catalysis. Assesscompetingcatalysts and make recommendation for replacement. . Maintain interface with engineers who are dealing with catalyst-related issues in refineries. . Contribute towards the advancement of TAKREER's catalyst technology, know-how related to the refining industry. Takepart in processtroubleshootingon reactorand catalyst-relatedinvestigationsin the refineriesas required. Exp & Qualification: 1. Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with a 3 to 5 years experience in refining R&D capacity. Track record and experience in refinery reactor modelling. Experience with knowledge of pilot plant operations. Sound skills in using simulation packages. Mustbe conversantwith programming languages and anyother modelling packages. Result oriented and focused on delivering solutions. Knowledge of refinery operations and processes' characteristics. Able to keep abreast with recent advances in reactor technologies/catalysis. 2. Excellent communicator and must have good interpersonal skills. -Maintenance Mechanical Section Head : Task & Duties : Prepares and implements detailed maintenance and workshop work procedures and practises ensuring that actiVities are carried out safely, recommending alternative maintenance f Tequenciesbased on equipment history or asa result of regular vibration monitoring surveys in pursuit of optimisation. Also reviews task analysis with special reference to potential loss and safety hazards including identifying critical tasks. Monitors the performance and maintenance cost for various mechanical and workshop equipment includes providing recommendations to enhance maintainability, alleviate operations anomalies and minimize maintenance cost of such equipment. Ensures that problem solving maintenance services are provided efficiently and expedientlyby subordinates. Directs and supervises the activities of assigned personnel in the Mechanical Section. Plans annual Capital/Operating budget, monitors/rationalize the expenditure including 5 years planning. Organizes short / medium / long term business in line with Takreer Policy / regulation / procedures. Qualification & Experience : B. Sc. In Mechanical Engineering. 9 years experience in the installation,maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy rotating and stationary equipment out of which 4 years should have been in a similar senior supervisory positionin an oil/gas or petrochemicalindustry. ComputerLiterate " , Goodknowledge of English. Marine Coordinator 02: Tasks & Duties: Planning and scheduling of berthing of vessels in coordination with Marketing. Vessel acceptance based on pre-arrival information in coordination with PPA. Organising the berthing and loading of cargo in coordination with Planning Movement. Supervising the quantification of loaded cargo in coordination with Third Party Inspectors to ensure minimisation of losses. Organises expeditious flow of complete and accurate documentation to Marketing. - NDT Engineer : Task & Duties; Plans, supervises and personally conducts inspection and testing of equipment tanks and piping using various non-destructive examination techniques like Ultrasonic flaw detection/thickness measurements, Magnetic particle testing, X-ray/radiography,Dye penetrant tests, Eddycurrent testing, Magnetic flux leakage testing, acoustic emission, thermography etc. Evaluates and interprets the test results and makes necessary recommendations to the supervisor. Carriesout visual inspection and Qualitycontrol jobs on plant facilities. - Gas Processing & Treating Section head : Task & Duties: Supervises and controls operations of Gas Processing and Treating section consisting of Hydrogen Recovery unit, Saturated Gas Treating unit, Saturated LPG Treating unit, Hydrogen (steam/refonner) unit, PSA and Naphtha Hydro treating unit to produce environmental friendly refined value added predetermined quantities of specified petroleum products meeting divisional objectives for the plant. Meetsproductionand quality targets set in conjunctionwith production planningto meet marketingdemands. Reviews operatingparameters and plant conditions in continual bases, modifiesthem as per company's procedures, trouble-shootsplant problemsand handles plant emergencies to ensure that the plants are operated safelyand efficiently.Closely involved in the maintainedplanning aspects andjob safetyanalysis to ensure that all the work carriedout in his area meetsHSE standards. Ensures optimal consumption of chemicals,energy and other additives to produceright mix and product blends as agreed. Initiates and review plant improvement,modification,and operating/capitalbudget proposals in line with the best operatingpractices and industry trends. Monitors the training function in the departmentto achievepredetennined nationalization targets implementsthe CBT program. Ensures that the HSEMS system is fully implementedin his area. Ensures that all the releases to atmosphereare well controlledto meet the company's environmental standards. . Minimum Requirements (Must Have): Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bsc in chemical Engineering orEquivalent. Minimum Year of Relevant Experience: 9 Years of diversified experience in refinery/gasprocessing operationsof which 4 years should have been in a senior supervisorylevel at Gas Sweeteningand Treating,Hydrogen ProducingPlants. - PROCESS ENGINEER : Task & Duties: Performs a variety of process engineering duties in the plant. Includes monitoring performance of plants and facilities, preparing daily performance summary and recommending corrective actions to deal with abnormalities. Coordinates with Operations to conduct Test Runs, tests new chemicals and implements changes in plant operations. Provides functional assistance to various plant personnel in test-checking alternatives, diagnosing process and corrosion problems, and preparing technical specifications of operating chemicals and materials. Prepares data for new projects and major revamps. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS B.Sc. in Chemical or Petroleum Processing Engineering. 5 years experience in process / operations. Good knowledge of English. Computer Literate. - SENIOR OPERATIONS ENGINEER : Task & Duties: Provides essential coordination & Technical support and advice to the manager and various Department Section Heads to ensure safe, efficient and optimalfunctioning of various Department operating units and systems. Includes coordinating new proJects,r'najor maintenance and shutdowns, and modifications, wi;thconcem~d personnel and providing recommendations to ensure plant reliability, safety andthe max relibility . Reviews and studies project documentation & making modification proposals; initiates and compiles budget proposals, and ensures implementation of action plans on all aspect of operation matters, in order toachieveqptimum performance.
