Universities offer animal breeding 

Many colleges and universities offer animal breeding and genetics graduate degree programs, usually in an agriculture or life sciences department. Students can expect class and laboratory instruction in topics like comparative animal nutrition, toxicology, genetics of livestock improvement and animal husbandry. Programs also teach prospective animal breeders to keep detailed records on the health of animals and inherited traits of their offspring. Employment opportunities for animal breeders are commonly found either in research or on a farm, ranch or other agricultural environment. Some graduates become consultants for farmers and others breed, raise and sell their own animals. Animal Doctors, also known as veterinarians, care for animals from cats to elephants. Most veterinarians specialize in large or small animals. Animal Doctors are required to earn Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees and obtain licensure. And………
