Those who contribute to poultry science 

Poultry science is an integral part of agriculture in our society. Meat and eggs from chickens, turkeys and various other fowl are consumed on an everyday basis by many Americans, and are subject to numerous regulations. Those who contribute to poultry science study nutritional needs, bird-specific diseases and breeding habits of various fowl to ensure only healthy and well-bred animals are used in the industry.  And……..

Degree plans for poultry science are most commonly found in agricultural schools and colleges. Many of these schools have an entire department devoted to this area of study, and they often offer both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Possibilities include Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degrees in animal sciences, animal health, poultry science or avian biology.
