Electromechanical technicians are employed nationally in numerous diverse industries. Locally, electromechanical technicians are employed by those industries involved in the manufacture and processing of paper, plywood, particle-board and other forest products, steel or heavy machinery. The Electromechanical Technology program provides the theory and hands-on training needed to enter this occupation. Graduates are able to seek employment in a wide variety of well-paying industrial settings, where challenges and new learning experiences occur every day.
